First, let me introduce you to the heart of this adventure - the National Geographic Photo Expedition, "Colors of Indonesia: Corals, Komodos, and Vibrant Cultures." Joining this expedition, we will explore the enchanting southern archipelago of Indonesia, from the sun-kissed shores of Bali to the hidden wonders of Sarong. Picture yourself surrounded by stunning coral reefs, encountering majestic Komodo dragons, and immersing yourself in the vibrant cultures of this diverse nation. Get ready to see my photography of awe-inspiring moments!

But that's not all! Our journey also takes a captivating twist as we connect with the amazing FAIMER Fellows. In Qatar, we will be welcomed by a Fellow who will graciously host us during our layover. And the excitement continues in the magical city of Yogakarta, where I will conduct a workshop with another FAIMER Fellow at our FAIMER Regional Institute of Indonesia for Educational Development and Leadership (FRIENDSHIP) based at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. Afterward, we'll have the opportunity to explore the majestic Sultan's Palace and witness the captivating Hindu ballet at Prambanan Temple Compounds, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Prepare to be mesmerized by the rich history and cultural treasures that await us!

Speaking of FAIMER Fellows, let me share a little of my passion for this nonprofit. In 2001, I co-created an international leadership program for health professions educators under the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). To this day, we have proudly produced over 2000 graduates across 40 countries worldwide. But here's your chance to make a difference!
