I am very pleased that Page’s Pages Around the World™, my art business focusing my creativity on a global mission to support the FAIMER programs for health professions education and health care, has been selected as "Featured Artist" by Arty Shark, June 2022. You also can download a pdf.
Since 2010, the Artsy Shark "top ten" ranked art site has featured more than 1600 artist individual portfolio articles with the world. I am thrilled to be a featured artist! The article states, “Photographer Page Morahan focuses her creative work on a global mission to support non-profit programs. Visit her website to learn more.”
One of my major projects each year to support FAIMER is creating a calendar with images from around the world. I started a survey with my July blog to help with the final decisions of images to use in my 2023 “Light Around the World” calendar. I have created 18 images so far, all available on my website.
In case you missed the survey in July, which 12 images would YOU like to see in the 2023 calendar? Please vote for your top 3 on the survey in this link.
Here’s my newest image, from my recent National Geographic expedition to the ancient isles around England, Ireland, Scotland and Norway. And more will come!
This dark rocky crag in the Skellig Islands in Ireland, backlit by a pale sunset, was to me a metaphor for dark and light.
I thought this image was a perfect pairing for this passage from Thich Nhat Hanh that he wrote right after 9/11.
I appreciate all the feedback I have gotten from my blogs and posts – I am really enjoying this way of keeping in touch with art lovers and colleagues around the world.
